Hi everybody!

Just got back from a whirlwind trip in Florida, a little sick,  but content and bubbling with excitement.  Sorry to have missed a few of my regular posts.  Nonetheless,  wonderful  things are happening and I am looking forward to sharing some of the goodness with you  including what I learned at TedXCharlotte yesterday and.... a sneak peek of my engagement photos!!! I've been swooning over our Sarasota  photo session about a million, billion times already.

For now, here's a photo I found while engaging in my new road trip hobby which involved me, my iphone and my Pinterest app. Holy hours of fun and inspiration!

Be sure to file this photo under: Amazing. Happy. Humans! (and camels)
Happy Sunday!

Happy Wednesday!

If you were gracious enough to stop by the blog on Monday, you may recall that I found a new blog love in My Best Friend Jules. Subsequently, I was inspired to write this post for the Monday Mantra.

During my enamored browsing of MBFJ, I also found a neato mosquito exercise called the A to Z of Me. It's a fun way to squeeze random facts about me out of myself and to give you a little more useless knowledge about me, Keia Calei Mastrianni. Why the hell not?!

Here goes....
A. Age: 30. I'll be 31 in January. Dang!
B. Bed size: Queen.
C. Chore that you hate: I hate folding the clean laundry. It takes me forever because I do it in 5- minute intervals over the course of, well, let's just say it's an inappropriately long time.
D. Dogs: I'm a dog lover, but am waiting for ample space to accommodate the little buddy with our two kitties, Munchie and Moxie.
E. Essential start to your day: Coffee!!! French press, when I need that extra somethin', somethin'.
F. Favorite color: Orange. It's the color of courage.
G. Gold or Silver:  I've been digging gold lately, with black.
H. Height: 5'3". Short and sweet, just like my munchkin kitty.
I. Instruments you play: None, but I can dance like a motherfather!
J. Job title: Writer. Server. Lover.
K. Kids: have the most incredible imaginations. I want to listen to what they have to say all day long. Hopefully, I'll be blessed enough to have a tribe of my own.
L. Live: in Cornelius, North Carolina. It's a suburb of Charlotte. Queen City, what, what!
M. Mother’s name: That'll be Susan Rizzi or Mama Rizz as we like to call her.
N. Nicknames: My name is fairly unusual to begin with so it sticks...Keia. Pronounced Kee-yah. Like the car, but spelled different.
O. Overnight hospital stays:  None. Thanks goodness!
P. Pet peeves: Out of the houseI cannot stand people who are not on time. It drives me bonkers! In the house- I can't take it when things are almost in their place, like, a dirty shirt sitting right next to the hamper or a piece of trash on the counter next to the trash can. It takes one more millisecond of effort to get those things in their proper place. I'm already getting mad just typing it. Ugh!!
Q. Quote from a movie: "And they rode away in the friskalating duskalight" - Owen Wilson as Eli Cash in the Royal Tenenbaums. Love that movie!
R. Right or left handed: Right.  I was born a leftie, but my kindergarten teacher didn't know how to teach a left-handed person or so I've been told.
S. Siblings: My big brothers, Anthony and Johnny and my little sister Melinda.
T. Time you wake up: If I'm running long- 5:00 a.m. On normal days, between 6:30 and 7:30 a.m.
U. Underwear: is the last thing I buy in the clothing department. Sad, but true.
V. Vegetable you hate: I have tried my best to like radishes, but just can't get there.
W. What makes you run late:  My late is usually 5 minutes early.
X. X-Rays you’ve had: My foot, my chest and my dental x-rays. Nothing too major. The chest was for a benign breast tumor that was easily removed.
Y. Yummy food that you make: I make a delicious mixed mushroom soup and wonderful scones and can whip up some pretty dope smoothies.
Z. Zoo animal: Gorillas. They are amazing. I can watch them for hours and never tire of them. They are just like us, and then they pee all over themselves and play in their excrement.
